Today is our last day of the Summer session! Thank you to all of our staff, students and families for an incredible Summer. If Summer engagement was an indicator for the year ahead, I know we have much to look forward to in the 2023-2024 school year!☀️📚☀️

The 22nd Annual Lūʻau celebration at Cambridge was a success! The week was filled with many different activities and fun such as class competitions, door decorating contest, trivia and scavenger hunts! #summeroffun #SGFS #thisisfalk 🌸🍍🏝️

The "Dog Days of Summer" are here! To align with our summer school theme, our elementary students were able to adopt a dog, name their pet and create a home for their pet this week! Looking forward to many adventures with our furry friends! #summerschool #summertheme #responsibility #fun 🐶📚☀️

Our week of celebration continues! Congratulations to our Grade 6 students who will be entering junior high next year. We are so proud of their accomplishments and know they will do great things in junior high! 🎉👏

Our Kindergarten friends are ready for 1st grade! Peace out "Kinder"! ✌️🍎📚

Our 7th Grade students from Harvey Austin went on an overnight camping trip to Allegany State Park! Students had so much fun going on nature walks, playing outdoor games, scavenger hunts, and water fun! Of course, the night ended with s'mores! Staff and students had a blast! #fieldtrip #thisisfalk #SGFS 🏞️⛺🌄

Our elementary campus unveiled our new book vending machine to bring excitement to reading! The top reader from each class attended the ribbon cutting ceremony! Students will earn tokens to use in the book vending machine through step reading and reaching milestones (1 step = 15 minutes of reading)! #readingrockstars #literacy #SGFS

Our Rossler campus hosted a concert for our aspiring musicians! Thank you to Music teacher, Mr. Barresi, for creating these opportunities for our students and sharing his passion with them! #passion #talentedstudents #SGFS🎸🎶🎹

Our Kindergarten students hosted an event, Donuts with Grown Ups, and were able to spend the morning decorating donuts with their special guests. Thank you to all of our wonderful families who participated in this event! 🍩🍩🍩

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Our Cambridge campus hosted a variety of activities that were meaningful and impactful to our student body and staff! Activities included Mindfulness Monday, self-care bingo, emotional support animals, a community lunch and learning break-out sessions! A special shout-out to high school counselors, Mrs. Mosher and Mrs. Gallivan, for planning the special week! 💚

STEM challenge: Design and build a model car that protects an egg from a car "crash"! Students in Ms. Sinatra's Science class put their engineering skills to the test. Students had a “budget” to purchase extra material (straw, towels, tape, balloons) to help protect their egg. Students used their skills and knowledge about simple machines and physics to help create their car!#handonprojects #makelearningfun #SGFS 🚗⚛️🥚

The 7th grade students at Rossler have had an EGGcellent time incubating chicken eggs this spring in Mrs. Kwiatkowski's Science class! The students monitored the eggs until hatch day, and since then they have assisted in caring for the new baby chicks. #reallifescience 🐤

Our Elementary Art Show and Family Night was a huge success! Thank you to all our our families, students and staff that showed up to support our incredible and creative artists!
