HAMISTER TECHNOLOGY STEAM CENTER

STEAM Lab

The Hamister Technology STEAM Center at the Roosevelt Campus Library provides a constructive outlet for Stanley G. Falk School students. The inspiring space provides opportunities for students to discover, explore, plan, problem solve, build and create. The modern and brightly decorated STEAM Center features flexible seating, adaptive technologies and an impressive variety of STEAM resources and materials for students.

Students engage in a wide range of hands-on and minds-on activities in the STEAM Lab, including simple coding with tools like Ozobots and Scratch, 3D design and printing, robotics, circuit building and creative engineering challenges using everyday materials. These activities are designed to promote critical thinking, collaboration and innovation while making learning exciting and meaningful.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Hamister Family Foundation for their generous donation, which made the creation of this dynamic learning space possible.
