FINE ARTS

Music and art form an important part of the Stanley G. Falk School experience. In accordance with the New York State Standards for the Arts, comprehensive music and art classes are offered to all students in junior and senior high. Music and art lessons are built into the daily elementary curriculum.

MUSIC

Beginning in junior high, students are given the option of joining chorus, which involves rehearsals twice a week. High school students may choose to enroll in a selection of music electives, including Music Theory, Music History, and instruction in various instruments. Bi-annual concerts highlight vocal and instrumental performances.

ART

High school students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of art electives, including Studio in Art, Art History, and instruction in specific media such as ceramics, jewelry design, and drawing and painting.
