We need your help in an effort to approve legislation for rate parity for 853 schools commensurate with the rate tuition increases for public school districts.
In the 2021-2022, New York State approved a 7% increase in state aid for public school districts and only a 4% increase in state aid for 853 schools. Our schools should be supported at the same rates as public school districts in order for us to provide the same stability to our students. In addition, this will help properly retain and recruit highly qualified teachers and staff. The Rate Parity Bill is on Governor Hochul’s desk. Please join our efforts as we encourage her to sign it.
